For our London team, we’re looking for a Travel Trade & PR Manager (m/f/d) to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover). You’ll help strengthen Austria’s position in the UK travel and media landscape, combine hands-on PR with B2B marketing, build lasting relationships and make a real impact in a small, internationally connected team.
Introduction
You bring people together and actively grow our network of UK media contacts, journalists, tour operators and other key industry partners. Along the way, you make sure Austria stays on their radar.
You know Austria has plenty of great stories to tell. With a good eye for engaging topics, you develop creative PR ideas, pitch stories to UK media and help put Austria in the spotlight.
You bring Austria to life! From media events and PR activities to press trips, you take the lead in planning and organising memorable experiences, working closely with our partners.
You develop and deliver B2B marketing activities, events and platforms, bring fresh ideas to the table and connect your initiatives with our wider marketing campaigns.
You work with UK tour operators to develop and enhance attractive holiday experiences in Austria, sharing your destination knowledge and inspiring the travel trade through training sessions and presentations.
You keep your finger on the pulse of the UK travel and media landscape, stay on top of emerging trends, maintain our trade and media contacts and share valuable insights with the team.
Introduction
You bring experience in the travel trade, PR, media relations or B2B marketing – ideally with some knowledge of the UK market.
You’re a natural networker who enjoys meeting new people, making connections, and turning good conversations into lasting partnerships.
You have a good eye for a great story, know how to get others excited about your ideas, and feel confident in pitching, presenting, and negotiating.
Passionate about Austria as a travel destination? Even better! You can spot the holiday experiences that will appeal to UK travellers and are keen to help more people discover them.
You take initiative, stay organised when juggling different projects and find practical solutions when things don’t quite go to plan.
You’re an excellent communicator in English (C1 level or equivalent). German would be a bonus.
You’re curious, internationally minded and enjoy working with others to make things happen.

The annual gross salary for this full-time position ranges from £ 41.500,- per annum. The exact salary within this range depends on qualifications and relevant experience.
