How to apply for a job with us

Our application process in 4 steps

From the online application to the offer - here you can find out how your path at Austria Tourism begins. Each step is a separate section. If both sides are convinced, the next step follows. This keeps the process transparent for you at all times.

Step 1

Online application

Apply for the position you are interested in using our online application form or use our speculative application form. We check every application carefully and you will always receive feedback from us.

Step 2

First meeting

We would like to get to know you during a short phone call or video call and find out more about your motivation. At the same time, we would like to answer your initial questions.

Note: For some positions, we will invite you to complete a short assignment. This can take place during the process either after step 1 or after step 2. Of course, we will inform you in good time if an assessment is planned and give you enough time to prepare.

Step 3

Interview

During the interview, we would like to find out more about you as a person, as well as your experience and skills. We value open communication, so please feel free to ask any questions you may have.

The format of the interview — whether it takes place virtually via video call or in person in our office — will be agreed individually.

Step 4

Offer

It's a match! If we are both convinced that we are a good match, we will make you a concrete offer and clarify all the details.

Make your CV clear & complete

A clear and up-to-date CV helps us to recognize your experience and strengths at a glance. During the interview, we would like you to tell us about your career path, so please be prepared to share your story with us!

Think about your desired salary in advance

We also talk about your salary during the application process. Think about your expectations in advance so that we can talk about them openly.

Start the interview relaxed

If your interview is taking place on site, please arrive a few minutes early to allow time to get settled. You are welcome to use our waiting area to relax and prepare for the interview.

Online interviews: Don't forget the technology check

Please ensure that your internet connection is stable, that the camera and sound are working, and that you are in a quiet environment. We look forward to listening to you!
